About The Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce
Welcome to the web site for The Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce. Our chamber represents more than 290 enterprises in northern New Hampshire. Our members engage in manufacturing, hospitality, retailing and dozens of other ventures, including non-profit and hybrid organizations. We work together and make good things happen.
This is not your ordinary Chamber, because this is not your ordinary region!
The Chamber focuses on regional prosperity and encourages leadership that capitalizes on the many advantages of this beautiful destination. The Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) has taken many effective measures to overcome the perception of geographic isolation. We are successful advocates for business expansion and recruitment. Our members are located along Interstate highway I-93. Major east-west routes pass through our towns, and we are minutes from Interstate highway I-91 in Vermont.
The White Mountain National Forest is an attraction rivaling any in the Northeast, and contributes to a superlative quality of life. Our small towns are rich in history and local culture. People say that we are New England "the way it used to be!" 
But, in actuality, the area offers all the benefits of 21st century advances in technology and services. Littleton's electric rates are the lowest in the state. Broadband internet is expanding beyond our towns and villages and out to the "last mile". Many are attracted here by New Hampshire's tax policies: no income or sales taxes.
Our workforce has long been recognized as a stellar asset: productive people devoted to meeting challenges. Littleton Area workers are endowed with a Yankee work ethic that is rarely matched in other regions. Littleton is home to a branch of the state's higher education system which hosts hundreds of long-distance learning sessions every year.
