In 1950 Blaktop, Inc. was founded to bring hot mix asphalt paving to the Upper Valley region. From that time through today Blaktop's people have been the key to its success. Nothing fancy just honest, loyal, dedicated, hard working people doing their best to give the customer the best in paving services. Blaktop serves the greater Connecticut River Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire.
Today after 15 years of Ames – Close co-ownership Blaktop and Twin State continue the same business strategy that has kept the companies successful since their beginning; sticking to their core vales of:

Along with its sister company,Twin State Sand & Gravel, they employ approximately 65 people during the construction season and utilize a fleet of over 75 vehicles and pieces of equipment. Additional facilities include 2 asphalt plants in West Lebanon and aggregate processing facilities in West Lebanon and at their quarry site in Hartland, Vermont.

* Blaktop paving operations provide experienced crews and a fleet of modern equipment that allows us to cater to three distinct customer classes: 1) Municipal Paving 2) Commercial Paving 3) Residential Paving.
* Our decorative paving services provide enhancements that give a more distinctive appearance to asphalt paving and include StreetPrint, Duratherm and Chip Seal.
* Plant mix materials manufactured at our two hot mix asphalt facilities include all types of hot mix asphalt and patch materials for pavement repair: Cold Patch and Tuff Patch.
